Michelle Ho

Shortly after joining AST Language Services in November 2019, I was asked to write a bit about myself for the website, and I was terrified! How am I going to sound as exciting and talented as my new colleagues? After all, I applied for the accounts position which is interesting to me… but here goes.

I worked for some years as part of the operations management team at a top university in Nottingham managing staff, HR duties, procedures and day-to-day admin, and was also involved in the financial operation for the business.

Being interested in finance, I joined their finance team in 2008 and held a position with them for 6 years. Since then I’ve been employed in various accounting roles in different industries and I am also a student AAT member. Yes, still learning! With my knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of accounting, I bring my experiences to the role and will continue to help streamline the accounts system as well as progress with the company as it grows in the future!
